AusBrands contains nutrient data for a wide range of commercial food products currently sold in Australia.

AusBrands includes data compiled directly from the product labels for nutrients such as energy, protein, total fat, saturated fat, carbohydrate, sugars and sodium. In addition, in many cases AusBrands products have been linked to an appropriate food in AusFoods to derive an approximate nutrient profile for nutrients available in AusFoods, including the nutrient/component extensions. Some AusBrands foods have been updated with micronutrients from the new Australian Food Composition Database (AFCD).

You can control whether the nutrient data shown in FoodWorks for AusBrands foods is sourced from the label data, from AUSNUT, or from a mix of both.

Note: If you import client diaries from Easy Diet Diary, some of the brand name products imported may not have a link to an AusFoods food and therefore these foods will not have a full nutrient profile.

AusBrands is developed by Xyris.
