What is a food record?

A food record is a type of Professional resource you can create for a client. Use a food record to record all food, drink and dietary supplement intake of a subject retrospectively over one or more days.

You can analyse food records as an average intake per day (Avg/day), per 1 megajoule of the total record (1MJ), or by the sum of all foods recorded (Total).

In Professional, food records are always associated with a client. This lets you view the client's intake against their Nutrient Reference Values (NRVs). To find out more about NRVs, see the support article Nutrient Reference Values explained
