Create and print resource reports

You can print or save customised reports for Professional resources (foods, recipes, meal plans, food records and 24 hour recalls).

To create and print or save a report

  1. Open the resource.
  2. Click the ellipsis (...) and select Generate report. Note: If the ellipsis is not visible this means you are in a draft version of the resource, close the draft to print the report. 
  3. Select the sections you wish to include in your report. Once selected, click Update preview to see your selections reflected in the report preview. 
  4. Click Print.
  5. In the Print dialog:
    - To print the report: As the Destination, choose a printer and click Print.
    - To save the report: As the Destination, choose Save as PDF and click Save.

Note

If you are using Foodworks.online on a tablet or mobile device, the above steps may not be re-creatable due to operating system differences. We recommend printing reports from a laptop or desktop computer.

  • I can’t seem to print from my iPad. Nowhere on the document is there an icon to click to print it. 

    Any suggestions would be great.

  • I've tried to print my recipe but i can only see a pdf and open icon. I've also kept clicking the open icon but still I cannot open the print page. I might be thinking there could be an error in my system.

    Thanks for your comment. 

    When you open the Print report modal, you can select to print by clicking the printer icon, circled below in blue. 

    This will open up a print dialogue where you can choose to either print to PDF or your connected printer.

  • I dont have a print option either for iPad . So frustrating!!

    Thanks for your comment. 

    When using Foodworks.online on your iPad the operating system can appear different to a desktop or laptop computer. We recommend using Foodworks.online on a computer for this reason. 

    Are you able to see an ellipsis menu to select Share from?
