Create reports for Nutrition Labelling resources

You can generate a report for a raw material, sub recipe or recipe, and download it as a Word document or PDF.

Each resource type has a Standard report, which includes every section, and a Custom report, where you choose the sections. Recipes and sub recipes also have Product specification and Recipe card reports. You set up custom reports and your report styling in Workspace settings.

Generate a report

1. Open the raw material, sub recipe or recipe.
2. Click the … menu in the top-right corner and select Generate report.
3. Select the report type (see Report sections below).
4. Click Generate report, then choose Download Word Document (.docx) or Download PDF.

Set up a custom report

1. Go to Workspace settings and select the Reports tab.
2. Select the resource type: raw material, sub recipe or recipe.
3. Tick the sections to include. Optional: apply a nutrient filter to limit the nutrients shown.
4. Set the report styling: choose a brand colour, and whether to show your organisation logo, the date and page numbers. Styling applies to all reports in the workspace. Your logo is set in Organisation settings.

Changes save automatically. To use your custom report, select Custom when you generate a report.

Custom reports can include any of the sections available for the resource type.

Recipes and sub recipes

Raw materials

Standard raw material reports include resource details, label details, nutrition, allergens, attributes, statements, the NIP and the product image.

Generating reports on a tablet or phone

Report generation may not work correctly on tablets and phones. For best results, generate and print reports on a laptop or desktop computer.
