A client biometric is an anthropometric, biochemical or clinical measurement that might be useful to track to assist your nutrition client.
A large range of biometrics are offered in Foodworks:
- Examples of anthropometric measurements include height, weight, waist circumference, and skinfold and girth measurements.
- Examples of biochemical measurements include blood glucose levels, cholesterol, triglycerides, HBA1c, Vitamin D and Vitamin B12.
- Examples of clinical measurements include blood pressure and appetite rating.
For the full range of biometrics in Foodworks, see Select biometrics for a client.
For each client, you can select the biometrics to track that are relevant to any health conditions they may have and to their nutrition goals. You can then track the biometric over time, displaying progress as a graph. If needed, you can also add a custom biometric or edit the name/unit of an existing biometric.
