On the Nutrients tab, enter analysis values for the raw material, including its nutrients, costing, Country of Origin, Health Star Ratings, warning statements, allergens and attributes.
You can source these values in the following ways:
- Use the values from an external source, such as its product specification.
- Base the values on another item (by choosing a similar item from the data sources or from your own custom foods and recipes in the workspace).
- Set the values to zero or unknown.
- Use a hybrid approach of the above. For example, you could base the analysis on another item, and then you could enter specific values where you have precise data.
To enter the values for a raw material from an external source
- Open the raw material and click Edit.
- On the Nutrients tab, in the Override column, enter the values per 100g (or, optionally, enter another weight in the Override field for Weight (g)).

- Values are saved automatically.

- Open the raw material and click Edit.

- Values are saved automatically.
