By default, when you create a recipe or sub recipe, its nutrient analysis is calculated from its ingredient information.
However, when necessary you can override these calculated analyses.
On the Overrides tab, you can enter override values for: all nutrients, costing, Country of Origin, Health Star Ratings, warning statements, allergens and attributes.
You can:
- Enter the analysis values from an external source.
- Base the analysis values on another item (by choosing a similar item from the data sources or from your own custom foods and recipes in the workspace).
- Set the analysis values to zero or unknown.
- Use a hybrid approach of the above. For example, you could base the analysis on another item, and then you could enter values for specific items for which you have precise data.

- Changes are saved automatically. When you're satisfied with this draft, click Publish.
