Declare a recipe or sub recipe as an additive

If a sub recipe or recipe used as an ingredient functions as a food additive, you can declare it as an additive. In the final recipe's ingredient list, it appears as its class name followed by its code, for example emulsifier (322).

Declare a sub recipe or recipe as an additive

1. Open the sub recipe or recipe and click Edit.
2. On the General tab, from the Label declaration dropdown, select Additive.
3. From the Class Name dropdown, select the additive's class, such as emulsifier.
4. In Additive Code, enter the additive's code number, such as 322.

Changes save automatically. When you're ready, click Publish.
