What is a resource?

In Professional, a resource is a user-created food document, such as a recipe, meal plan, food, food record or 24 hour recall.

The types of resources available depend on the edition of Foodworks you are using.

Resources exist within a workspace and are listed in the navigation pane for that workspace.

You can create resources for the workspace as a whole or specifically for a client. (Some resources must be created for a specific client, such as food records.)

A workspace resource is listed in the navigation pane when you've selected Resources on the sidebar.

A client resource is a resource that is specific to a client. A client resource is listed in the navigation pane when you've clicked Clients on the sidebar, and then selected the client.

A client resource is also listed in the Resources tab for that client.

As long as you have the correct permissions, you can open and edit a resource.

Contrast resources with reference foods (foods and recipes provided in the data sources, which are not editable by you), and with clients.
